Strange Dreams

I am on the fifth floor of the library, writing from one of those computer nooks where international and grad students tend to hoard their books and never leave. My computer is on the verge of a malfunction. I know this because there are pink lines running through the screen, they wobble slightly and make me dizzy. Besides theses pink lines, everything on the screen is a light shade of green. It's pretty really, but it hurts my eyes to look at for too long.

Last night I dreamt that I was at a party and everyone was there. An asteroid was going to hit the Earth and we had decided to drink until it did. We sat in circles while some of us danced in the middle. Then we ran outside and smoked hashish on inflatable mattresses set up around campus. Adam Kohrman was wearing an Indian headdress. I was having “the time of my life” when God came down in the form of Jeff Desmarais (it took him a long time to get to the party because he was a little tired and his leg hurt) and told us that we would all be ok. I don’t know if this means we were going to die and go to heaven or if we would survive the crash.
