the apple came from the grind...

Rachael and I are in the Grind. I have been here for 20 of the last 40 hours or something like that.

Rachael says: "my apple is so fresh and so clean, clean"

As you may have guessed Rachael is eating an apple. Let me tell you a little about apples and their historical metaphorical usage.

1) The obvious one. Forbidden fruit. Wouldn't you just love to bite in to that succulent, delicious, juicy, apple? Eve must have loved that shit. I bet it was really crisp and some of the apple juice got in her eyes and it hurt a little bit but it didn't matter because it was great.

2)when tomatoes were introduced into Europe, they were called "love apples" -- however, this does not pertain to the subject at hand because those are tomatoes.

3) these men are enjoying a delicious apple. Symbolic of their deep and caring affection for one another (gay)

4) The Greek goddess of discord, Eris, became disgruntled after she was excluded from the wedding of Peleus and Thetis. In retaliation, she tossed a golden apple inscribed Kallisti ('For the most beautiful one'), into the wedding party. Three goddesses claimed the apple: Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite. Paris of Troy was appointed to select the recipient. After being bribed by both Hera and Athena, Aphrodite tempted him with the most beautiful woman in the world, Helen of Sparta. He awarded the apple to Aphrodite, thus indirectly causing the Trojan War.

Think about that next time you eat a delicious apple. Give that shit to the wrong person and you might kill hundreds or even thousands.

5) sometimes ads use apples to sell their product

I can't believe the apple sold out! Fuck that shit. From now on I will eat pears and maybe the occasional orange.
