Today I went to lunch. I had some General Tso's Chicken(who the hell is this General Tso fellow???), a couples pieces of pizza, an orange, and a little bit of eggnog ice cream (I didn't like it). After that lovely meal, I walked outside of the cafeteria, up the stairs of the UC and to my little mailbox. I was hoping and praying that perhaps today would be the day that I receive something other than flyers, medical statements, or the Red Cross wanting my blood. I looked in and lo and behold!!!! Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Crushed, I sat down on the floor, cried, puked a little, then brushed myself off, resolving to never hope again.
But wait! This doesn't seem like Sarah at all. She isn't a quitter!! (excluding soccer, softball, cheerleading, piano, clarinet, trombone, gymnastics, dance, etc.) She especially isn't a quitter when it comes to hoping for something that is unlikely to happen!! SO! Here is my proposal, if you are willing to undertake it with me: Let's all write eachother letters!!! Come on, everybody loves getting real live letters in the mail, so let's do it. It'll give you a reason to hope again. My mailbox number is 406. Post your mailbox number, and you are more likely to receive something lovely in the mail!
